BerggruenArts raddoppia a Venezia

The historic Palazzo Diedo in Venice will serve as the base for the multi-faceted, international program— hosting an array of exhibitions, installations, symposia, and an artist-in-residence program that will foster the creation of art in Venice.

To bring the palazzo to life during the renovation, BerggruenArts has named Sterling Ruby as its inaugural artist-in-residence. "A Project in Four Acts," his multi-year installation at Palazzo Diedo, will debut in April and be on view through the 59th La Biennale.

Internationally renowned contemporary art curator Mario Codognato has been named the artistic director of #BerggruenArts. Venetian architect Silvio Fassi will oversee the restoration and renovation of the palazzo, which will officially open in 2024, concurrent with  La Biennale.
