YOUNG ARTIST IN THE HOTEL

La galleria d’arte YAG/garage di Pescara, in collaborazione con la San Servolo Servizi di Venezia, presenta l’operazione YOUNG ARTISTS IN THE HOTEL. Il progetto offre a sei artisti della galleria la possibilità di poter esporre una propria opera nei prestigiosi spazi di San Servolo. 

In occasione dell’ultima Biennale di Architettura (anno 2018) la San Servolo Servizi ha affidato ad importanti aziende, che si occupano di arredamento e design, il lavoro di restyling di sei camere. L’operazione, denominata Venice Innovation Design, ha visto il coinvolgimento di noti marchi che hanno ridato un nuovo look a questi spazi, ma anche alla reception e ad altri luoghi della struttura. 

Per la 58° Biennale d’Arte Contemporanea di Venezia gli artisti Dario Agati, Martina Cioffi, Daniele Di Girolamo, Matteo Messori, Marco Smacchia e Manuel Tatasciore (MAD), esporranno una loro opera all'interno di queste sei camere, in modo da rendere questi spazi ancora più esclusivi. 

Gli ospiti che occuperanno durante la Biennale le sei suite avranno l’occasione di poter apprezzare privatamente la bellezza e il valore delle opere esposte. 

Contemporaneamente gli artisti esporranno nell'area caffetteria sei lavori simili a quelli presenti nelle camere.

Il progetto, a cura di Ivan D’Alberto, direttore della YAG/garage è stato possibile grazie a Silvio Maresca, amministratore unico della Carlo Maresca SpA, azienda leader nel settore turistico - alberghiero, dell’edilizia e delle energie rinnovabili. 

Il vernice dell’operazione YOUNG ARTISTS IN THE HOTEL è previsto per venerdì 10 maggio 2019 alle ore 17.00 con una visita guidata delle sei camere. 

Le opere in mostra nell'area caffetteria sono in vendita e potranno essere viste nei seguenti orari: tutti i giorni dalle 9.00 alle 20.00.

YAG/garage art gallery in Pescara (Italy), in partnership with San Servolo Servizi, presents YOUNG ARTIST IN THE HOTEL, a project with the aim to offer to six artists of the gallery the opportunity to exhibit in the prestigious spaces of San Servolo. 

On the occasion of the Biennale Architettura 2018, San Servolo Servizi, with the Venice Innovation Design initiative, entrusted the task of restyling six rooms, reception and other spaces of the structure to important companies dealing with furniture and design. 

This year, for the 58th International Art Exhibition six YAG/garage artists, Dario Agati, Martina Cioffi, Daniele Di Girolamo, Matteo Messori, Marco Smacchia and Manuel Tatasciore will exhibit one of their works inside each of the San Servolo restyled rooms both for making them more esclusive that for allowing guests who will occupy these rooms to have the opportunity to privately appreciate the beauty and the value of these artworks. 

At the same time, in the San Servolo cafeteria, other works of the same artists with almost the same subjects of those exhibited in the rooms, will be shown to the public with the possibility of being bought.

The project is curated by Ivan D’Alberto, art director YAG/garage and the exhibition has been made possible thanks to Silvio Maresca, sole director Carlo Maresca SpA.

The exhibition opens 10 May 2019 at 5.00 p.m. with guided tour.
